- Make sure you select “mirror” on the cut screen since you are using iron-on.
SVG Instructions for Silhouette Cameo:
Keep in mind that SVGS only open in the designer edition of the silhouette software! The cut file also comes as a PNG and DXF that should work with the regular silhouette software edition.
- Open Silhouette Design Studio
- Click “open”
- Select your file.
- Once clicked the SVG will automatically be added to your studio.
- Adjust size to the size of your vinyl blank
- Load your vinyl into your silhouette.
- Click Send in the right-hand corner.
- Double-check that the correct material and settings are selected.
- Then push send.
- Make sure you select “mirror” on the cut screen since you are using iron-on.
Applying Vinyl to the Cupcake carrier
After I finished cutting the vinyl weeding it …like normal. When I had it all done I realized that the top lid of the cupcake carrier had ridges.
So I cut apart each line to fit in between the lines. You will have to adjust as needed since each carrier is going to have a different sized area to work with.
Peel off the backing leaving the vinyl on the transfer tape.
Then I placed it where I wanted it and rubbed it with an application tool.
Peel off the transfer tape! Easy peasy!
I paired this with one of my levi aprons and some other fun kitchen gadgets for a cute wedding gift!
