I am in deep love with gourmet caramel apples! They are all kinds of tasty AND totally good for you–because an apple is a fruit! Ha! They make a perfect gift –wrap up them and add a fun printable! I made a few printables to add to any fun apple-themed treat for the perfect Teacher Appreciation!

Supplies to use with FREE Printables

glue dots

Bakers Twine (great for tying on the printables!)
Caramel apple

Make your own Gourment Caramel Apple

I just dip an apple in my microwave caramel recipe (yup–totally yummy and made in the microwave!)

Drizzle with melted chocolate (white or milk are both so good!) You can top with m&m candies, chipped up nuts, Oreo cookies, or heath bar pieces! Then I flatten some cute cupcake liners to set it in!

Once the caramel and chocolate have hardened, wrap in a cute plastic/cellophane bag.

Once you have your apples ready, print out the tag you want to use.

Printing them out

If you are looking for a great printer to use – I love my HP! I wrote up a whole post why The reasons I love the printer. This post also shows how you can make sure you are getting the best prints by adjusting your settings!

IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PRINTER: You can also upload the files to staples or office max and have them print them! Sometimes the local library has a printer for public use!

Cutting out the printables:

I love Fiskars! Nice sharp scissors or paper cutters will get you the best-looking edges! Almost 90% of the time use my Paper Trimmer to get nice straight cuts! It just looks so much more professional! You can also upload the image into your Silhouette or Cricut software and have your electronic cutter cut it out for you! I have a post if need help with the Print and Cut feature!

Attaching the printable:

If you want to attach the printable directly on, I personally love glue dots! They are round and clear and removable so you should be able to get the tag off easily. You can also punch a hole in the corner and run some ribbon or baker’s twine through it!

Variations to use with this apple gift tag

These tags are also cute on apple jars! I just painted the lid red and added some green leaves I cut out of cardstock.
