Solar Smores-summer survival series

are plans for our backyard involves a fire pit.

but since I don’t hold my breath when it comes to my husband’s handiwork.

and We decided we didn’t want to wait to enjoy our smores…

we present SOLAR S’mores

you need a pizza box, tin foil. black paper and saran wrap. solar smores how to

you cut the top and cover it in tin foil.

then the second part of the lid is saran wrap (to keep the heat in…(think greenhouse effect)

then you place a black piece of paper in the bottom. and add smores.

we like our marshmellows melted and our chocolate hard…so we added the chocolate later. (the toothpicks are to keep the saran wrap from falling down on our mallows…I didn’t attach it tight enough! then i added a skewer to get the perfect angle.

then….

solar smores add sunshine It took about an hour (it probably would have taken less…but look at those stinking clouds!!!)

then you get to enjoy….

solar smores finished my daughter even instagrammed it. (first smores of the season! we were excited!)

I’m going to have her start doing my graphics for me! ha!
