This Gross Halloween sensory game is going to be a HUGE hit with your kids! Perfect for a Classroom party!

If you have been a long time reader- you know I love the gross part of Halloween and not the cute princess costume part of Halloween! So this gross game is right up my alley! And after playing it at a party and seeing the kids loving it, I know it right up their alley as well!
Supplies you need to make a Halloween sensory box:
- Empty square Tissue Box
- Printables (down below)
- scissors
- glue
- foam sheets
- gross items to touch: Grapes, Slimes, cooked noodles, cotton Balls, karo syrup, treats

How to assemble the Sensory Box:
Step 1:
You will need to print each printable twice to cover all 4 sides of the box. Cut them out and then glue the tabs together to make one long strip of 4 sides

Step 2:
Glue printable around the tissue box.

Step 3:
I took my scissors and cut open the mouth of the tissue box so it’s easier to get a hand inside. You don’t want to cut it all off because you need some edges to glue on to!

Step 4:
Take a piece of the craft foam and trace around the top of the box and cut out.

Step 5:
Cut the top of the foam like a star. This makes it so you can get your hand inside and out but you can’t see inside. Glue it on top using the remaining top of the tissue box.

Here is the finished product:

Step 6:
Time to Fill with “gross” items!

- Grapes
- Slime
- cooked noodles
- cotton Balls
- karo syrup
- treats
- play doh
- peanut butter
- jello
- flour
How to play the game!
You can have people write down their guesses on what’s inside. Or put candy in one box and let them choose one to put their hand in. They win if they get the candy. Either way- it’s a super fun (gross) game to play this Halloween!

Questions about the game:
- I know that this can be a “germy” project. I recommend hand sanitizer right at the start. You could have everyone use gloves, it might make it even more ooey and gooey.
- The inside of the box can get gross depending on what you are using it for. I just toss the boxes after the game is done. But if you need it to last for while you can line it with plastic wrap to prevent it from soaking through. Or you can place the items in bowls and cut out the bottom of each box.
