fake board and batten…(moving week!)

I can NOT tell you how much a little fake board and batten make a HUGE difference in my living room!!!

It was this huge wall that ran into the kitchen and everything look dwarfed on it cause it was just…there.

but the b and b really broke it up and made it feel sooooo homey. I honestly have ever intention of putting this EVERYWHERE in my new house. I totally love look (although I will probably use real wood…)

I made them using old wooden blinds…so super easy–just a little paint and a few nails. it’s not permanent and it’s a great option for a rental!

as of today…holes have been patched and vinyl is getting removed then everything gets a coat of bright white paint….
