I know if I wait until my house is all the way done to give you a house reveal…you may NEVER see it! HA! So today I’m going to show you the two bathrooms I have done! (kinda….mostly!) This first one is our hall bathroom (the one that guests use)
The shower curtain is the main part of this bathroom–I found this cute bathroom and wanted this shower curtain
It was sold out but led me to the Anthropologie website where I found this one– I loved the colorful floral!
(But now I want to redo the bathroom because I’m loving this peach one! — But I don’t think my husband would be thrilled to redecorate every 3 months!)
Moving on…Light fixture is from Amazon! There were so many great light fixtures that I literally picked different ones for every spot in my house! I couldn’t help it! The framed in mirror was done by the same guy that did the cabinets. I requested gold pulls… since I was adding in gold accents (which Karl HATED the idea of…but it’s subtle and he wouldn’t have even noticed the gold if I wouldn’t have mentioned it beforehand!)
Above the toilet is this white shelf I got from Hobby Lobby. It was on clearance before Christmas last year and I have never seen one like it since! BUT they have so many great shelves! A whole aisle of dreamy things! I’m planning on buying a wood version for my bedroom! The Dinosaur planter is from Tj Maxx. First Aid is a red bucket from Hobby Lobby that I added vinyl too. One jar holds seashells from our last beach trip and the other jar holds bath salts! The towel hook is from a local boutiqe. I CAN NOT STAND towel rods. Are you supposed to refold your towel? and my kids will pull on it and it always looks askew. So I opted for hooks in all my bathrooms too.
The hand towel and toilet paper rod are matching. Both from Hobby Lobby. You would think it would be easy to change out the roll with this hanger…but it’s still proven too difficult for my kids.
Grabbed this cute little panda holder for toothbrushes…but it would be cute with some succulents out of it! TJ Maxx is where I scored it. They always have the cutest weirdest little things!
All the rugs and towels are from TARGET! Opalhouse and Nate Berkus If memory serves correctly. I literally just hauled my shower curtain around while I shopped and grabbed accessories that matched it!
Moving on to the next bathroom. This bathroom could have been the end of our marriage. I wanted to tile this baby up funky!!!
And Karl hated them ALLLLLLL. He has no sense of adventure. We could not agree on tile for this danged bathroom. We ended up carrying the flooring (which is tile) through to all the bathrooms…but I would have loved to pick all sorts of fun designs for each bathroom floor. Husbands can be such duds. Anyways….I don’t mind the bathroom. I just wanted that pop of razzle dazzle. Since I couldn’t get it in the tile–I threw up some wallpaper!
Same cabinets throughout the whole house –but I wanted to do a blue color like this one
but guess what. Karl hated it. I also like the idea of finding and old dresser and convert it to a sink. BUT when you are on a deadline and having to pick a whole house out–you kind of just have to compromise and go with the flow. I have always loved the idea of buying a fixer upper because I feel like when you are redoing a room at a time–at your speed–you have time to shop around and splurge on things and it’s not so overwhelming. But that is neither here nor there. Let’s move on to the bathroom!
The light fixtures are from Home Depot. We originally had one sink –and upgraded to two sinks. Apparently, my husband doesn’t like to move my curling wand to brush his teeth. whatev.
We put up his and hers hand towel racks….just to prove a point on who never hangs up their towel. He swears its me. It’s him. soo.. The hand towels are from target..and I spray painted them black!
The Hi sign is from pre fire house. (tutorial is here) Basket is from Hobby Lobby.
The little vase is a lotion bottle from bath and body works and towel rack is from a place called Fred Meyer…it was wood and I spray painted that too!
Here is our boring shower–It’s not bad…but definely not what I was orginally planning. This was our comprmoise. Belive it or not –this was Karl being adventurous.
My favorite part is this hidden little compartment under the sink (normally dead space!)
It holds my curling irons! It’s awesome! The brand is stowaway products and I found some here on Amazon!
The Wallpaper is from Target–the hearth and hand brand. It comes in black with white plaid too. I love it so much.
The towels and rug are from Target as well!
The floor is tile from Lowe’s.
and the countertop is granite…it’s considered “white” but has cranberries in it. Both are perfect for hiding crap! A mom’s dream! And the paint color is ALABASTER from Sherwin Williams. The entire house got painted this! A great base to add all my wallpaper too!
I have one bathroom left–I’m looking for a perfect palm leaf wallpaper (I think) It’s the downstairs bathroom that my two oldest kids use so I feel like I can be a little more funky!

I actually have a whole collection of fun stuff I’ve bought (or am going to buy) on amazon! Check it out!
