Whether you’re a student, parent, or colleague, you’ll find something meaningful to express your appreciation and make your beloved teacher feel valued. So let’s dive in and celebrate the amazing teachers who make a difference every day.
And I have some free printables to use as well! You can use them with this gift idea or just tie on to any fun treat or gift!

Supplies to put together this Teacher gift
- disposable drink carrier (I just used one we got when we had drinks-but you can buy some in bulk)
- flowers
- plants in a small pot
- cookies
- gift cards
- cups
- chapsticks
- Cookies
- bookmarks
- stickers
- red apple
- lotion
- hand santizer
- printable (down below)

Some drink carriers are two slots and some are 4 slots- so you might not need a lot of things depending on the size you have!
Some of my favorite places to buy gift cards
This, of course will depend on your specific teacher- but these are some of the favorites that teachers have claimed they love!
- Starbucks (or local drink shop)
- Barnes and Noble
- Amazon
- Target
- Gift certificate for a pedicure
How to make your Teacher appreciation gift
Gather up your supplies. Since this is a drink carrier, I tried to stay with the theme. A gift card to a soda shop. A fun new cup. Flowers and some of the teachers favorite treats. Then I created some printables that are perfect for this gift idea. (They are located at the bottom of this post!)
If you need help figuring out your teacher’s favorite snacks, give your teacher this favorite things questionnaire!
How to use these free printables

These printables might look familiar since they are very similar to my BACK TO SCHOOL printables!
Printing them out
If you are looking for a great printer to use – I love my HP! I wrote up a whole post why The reasons I love the printer. This post also shows how you can make sure you are getting the best prints by adjusting your settings!
IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PRINTER: You can also upload the files to staples or office max and have them print them! Sometimes the local library has a printer for public use!
Cutting out the printables:
I love Fiskars! Nice sharp scissors or paper cutters will get you the best-looking edges!
Attaching the printable:
If you want to attach the printable, you can add some tape to the top of pencil so it could stick up out of the cup. You can also just prop the sign up in the flowers.
To attach the cup wrap, I just taped it around the cup.

You can also use the composition notebook printable and wrap it around a vase for another fun gift idea.

Assemble the Teacher gift
I did a few different versions of these drink carriers, and on some of them, I put tissue paper in the bottom to add some flair. Then added all the different elements.

This is optional. I honestly thought it looked good with it and looked good without it!
This is no tissue paper but a ribbon!

I put the gift card to a local drink shop and some stickers inside the cup. The other drink carrier slot across from the cup, I placed a plastic cup with a little bit of water, and trimmed down some flowers to put inside. You can poke some fun writing utensils or pencils in the flowers or cup.
Then I just added some treats/cookies to the other cup holders!
It’s such a fun gift because you can customize it with whatever you want! Lotions and soaps fit in the cupholders, as well as a red apple. A small succulent in a pot would look good in the drink carrier! You could even adjust it and make its summer themed! Fun pair of sunglasses, sunscreen, a cut summer cup etc! So many options.
