so my daughter had this shirt…that had a bunch of jewels on it. Then one day she came home from school and had ripped them all off and given them to her friends…
kids are awesome.
and I would have just left it be…except you could see the residue of where the jewels were…
So I whipped up a simple way to fix it…with heat transfer vinyl! I buy all my vinyl at Expressions Vinyl and I even free handed this! so no cutter is necessary! I just laid the vinyl on and cut out a collar shape.
press with iron for 15 seconds 
(heat transfer vinyl has a plastic carrier sheet over it–so after it cools you can peel it up and reveal the vinyl! )
Then we decided to add some buttons. I picked some out and she chose her favorite!
a cute easy fix that hopefully won’t get ripped off and handed to friends. maybe.
