What Is Turkey Hide and Seek?

Turkey Hide and Seek is a fun game where you hide paper turkeys around the house (or classroom), and kids race to find them all! It’s perfect for keeping little ones busy while dinner’s cooking or after dessert when everyone needs to burn off a little energy.

Think of it as an Easter egg hunt, but Thanksgiving-style — no candy needed, just a handful of paper turkeys and big smiles!

What You’ll Need

✂️ Scissors
📄 Cardstock or regular printer paper
Painter’s Tape

We used painters tape to put these turkeys in all sorts of fun places! Painters tape ensures that we won’t pull off any paint or finishes!

You can laminate these turkeys and use them year after year! I got this Scotch Laminator for Christmas a few years ago and I love it!

How to Play

Print and cut out the paper turkeys from the free printable.
Have an adult hide the turkeys around the house, classroom, or yard. You can make it easy for younger kids or tricky for older ones!
Write down how many turkeys you hid around the area.
Once you’re ready, give them the paper with the instructions and let the hunt begin!
Kids race to find all the hidden turkeys.
Optional: Give small prizes, stickers, or treats for whoever finds the most.
