Head to Hobby Lobby and grab some supplies because we have Four foam pumpkin projects that are perfect for Fall!
I always love the pumpkin wall at Hobby Lobby! So today we are going to create some Fall crafts with some of these cuties!
Here is what my Hobby Lobby cart looked like:
And a closer look at some of the fall items I got! Fall Crafts are 50% off so I snagged all the things I thought I would need for these projects!
I created 4 different projects! So let’s jump in!
Four foam pumpkin projects
Floral Pumpkin vase
I keep seeing these gorgeous floral arrangements all over social media! It’s such an easy way to create a beautiful centerpiece!
The main supplies you need are
- foam pumpkin
- florals
- ribbon
I just used a sharp knife and cut out the center of the pumpkin. The floral stems just stick directly inside! Hobby Lobby has fall floral picks with pumpkins, acorns, leaves, berries etc! So many fun ways to decorate your pumpkin vase!
Floral Pumpkin Door Hanger
Next project- an adorable Fall door hanger that you can leave up until Thanksgiving!
Supplies to make floral pumpkin holder
- Unfinished wood sign
- foam pumpkin
- wood letters
- ribbon
- all the pretty flowers that catch your eye! Good thing all the Fall Floral at Hobby Lobby was on sale!
How to make a door hanger
I cut this pumpkin right in half! I just used a craft knife! It was really easy!
There are a few foam little pieces that will break off but if you have a vacuum right by you, you can just suck them up as you go! You might need to trim off any pieces that stick out so the pumpkin will lay flat.
Since the pumpkin is foam, I literally could just snip off some stems and stick them right in the pumpkin until I had an arrangement I liked!
I hot glued the pumpkin right to the board.
You can add scrapbook paper, patterned vinyl, paint, or any fun wood phrases!
Hobby Lobby had quite a few that were fall-themed phrases as well as a darling one that said welcome to our home! That’s what is so great about these projects! The basic idea is here but you can put your own creative spin on it! And Hobby Lobby has all the awesome supplies to make it just how you want it!
I can’t decide if I like my last name on it or having the word grateful on it! They are both so cute!
Since this project you are using half the pumpkin, you can make two door hangers with one pumpkin! So grab a friend for a fun craft day!
Pumpkin address sign!
I had so much fun cutting pumpkins in half, I thought they would be cute as an address sign on my front porch! So this is our third pumpkin project!
Supplies:
- 2 small pumpkins
- unfinished wood sign
- wood numbers (or stickers)
My address is 4 numbers- so two pumpkins were all I need! But you could swap out the numbers for the letters to spell FALL!
I actually painted the pumpkins because I wanted a more orange color. Hobby Lobby has an orange paint called pumpkin/calabaza and it was the perfect color!
Then cut it in half.
I pressed these wood numbers into the pumpkins so they would lay flat against the pumpkins. You can see the indention in the pumpkin.
Then just hot glued the pumpkins onto the wood.
Look how adorable this porch is! The West family is another Hobby Lobby pumpkin! I just added some stickers to it!
You could also use letterboard letters like I did here!
Pumpkin candle holder
Last project! This one is another super easy one!
Supplies:
- Foam pumpkin
- candle or candies
Just cut off the top. If it’s not hollow, carve out a little spot for the candle to sit. You can also add some treats instead of a candle. (I did put a coat of Mod Podge on the inside to seal the pumpkin in case I wanted to use this for treats like candy corn.)
When the top is on, it just looks like a pretty centerpiece. But when you move the stem- TREATS!
I hope you feel inspired to make one of these Four foam pumpkin projects! Which one is your favorite?
