What Is the Roll-a-Turkey Game?
Roll-a-Turkey is a Thanksgiving dice game where kids roll, match the number, and place an M&M on the turkey printable. With every roll, their turkey fills up with colorful candies — turning the game into an adorable (and tasty!) Thanksgiving challenge.
It’s part game, part treat, and 100% fun.

What You’ll Need
- 🦃 Free Roll-a-Turkey printable (download below)
- 🎲 1 or 2 dice
- 🍬 A bowl of M&Ms
- 📄 Printer + paper (cardstock works best!)
That’s it! No fancy supplies, no setup time — just print and play.
You can, of course, just mark off the numbers with a marker or crayon instead of using candy!

PRINTER
If you are looking for a great printer to use – I love my HP! I wrote up a whole post why The reasons I love the printer. This post also shows how you can make sure you are getting the best prints by adjusting your settings!
IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PRINTER: You can also upload the files to staples or office max and have them print them! Sometimes the local library has a printer for public use!
You can also laminate these turkeys and use them year after year! I got this Scotch Laminator for Christmas a few years ago and I love it!

How to Play
- Print one turkey game sheet per player.
- Give each child a handful of M&Ms (or any small candy or manipulative).
- Players take turns rolling the dice.
- Whatever number they roll, they place one M&M on the matching number on the turkey.
- Keep playing until every number is covered!
- When the turkey is full, kids can eat their M&Ms as a sweet reward.
You can play as a group race, quietly at the kids’ table, or even as a classroom center activity.
Variations:
I also created a couple of different printables! One set it ready to colored by the kiddos before they play.

Another printable option is a blank version so you can fill in your own numbers. If you want to incorporate some math and learning, you could use two dice and have the kids add, divide, or even multiply! Just figure out what all the different number combinations would be and write in the answers! GREAT for a classroom game!
