Different coloring techniques to use with these cards
Just coloring these printable mother’s day cards as normal is always an option! Markers, Crayons, or fingerpaints are all fun ways to be creative! But I wanted to add a few other options to get the creativity flowing! Most of these options are great for younger and older kids!
Take some markers and a plastic bag and do a fun watercolor technique!
2. Tissue paper
I did a fun twist where I glued tissue paper to the printable! The tissue paper is thin enough to see the black lines through.
Set up your pancake griddle to warm and cover with tin foil. Let the kids go over the picture watching those crayons melt smoothly! It’s a super fun activity! (you can also try Oil Pastels if you don’t want to worry about the heat.)
Mix up some black glue and place a clear sheet over the top of the mother’s day card. Trace the outlines and let the kids turn them into fun unique sun catcher!
