Supplies to make Valentine’s Earrings

- Earring blanks
- E6000 adhesive
- Supplies to use as earrings:
- Stickers
- beads
- flatbacks
- buttons
I grabbed all the items from Hobby Lobby! They had quite a variety!
Stickers
If you are going to use stickers, you don’t want paper or plastic ones. Look for ones that have a little more substance to them. The bow stickers are made from actual ribbon. The smiley face and hearts have a globe/resin appearance to them.

Beads
If you want to do beads, I like to grab ones that have a flat side. There was a kit at Hobby lobby that I got for my daughter that had cute variety of flat beads!

Other things that work for earrings
I found these flatbacks at Hobby Lobby. Not sure what their real purpose is, but they were so cute that I had to make them into earrings!

I also have some conversation heart erasers that have held up great! I know they come up with so many fun mini erasers for all seasons and holidays for really cheap so this is a great resource if you want to make earrings in bulk!

Earring Blanks
The earrings blanks I grabbed were gold because that’s what I wear the most, but they also have silver and some for sensitive ears.
Here is a close up of what they look like.

How to DIY Valentine’s Earrings

This tutorial could not be easier!

It’s a simple matter of adding a little E6000 adhesive to the earring backs and putting your bead, sticker, eraser etc on top!
I did peel off the sticky section from the bows first (they came off easily).

Then add the glue and place the earring back. The glue does need to set for 24 hours to cure it.

I laid the earrings face down while they dried.
Like I said, SO EASY! I made about 10 in less than 10 minutes!

Making Valentine Hoop Earrings
The cute little love letters were a little too big to just add to an earring back. So I ended up going to plan B!
I got a super small drill bit and added a little hole.

I had lots of hoop earrings leftover from this project so I just slipped them in the hole I just created.

They turned out so cute!

Earring Tags
I was making some of these for gifts for my daughters- so I wanted to put them on an earring tag! They are really inexpensive to buy but just as easy to DIY!
Just cut out some shapes out of cardstock and added a few holes to slip the earrings in! The perfect little gift for your Valentine!
