Initial pillow

I saw these fun initial pillows in a magazine one time…and I had to create them. But me…being me…I had to jazz them up a little bit. Glitter heat transfer vinyl. Fun patterned fabric…and POM POMS! Like ALL my favorite things!

The glitter heat transfer vinyl from Expressions Vinyl really makes it pop! Here are my supplies!

To cut out the heat transfer vinyl: You need to load in your vinyl upside down…

and cut out and weed! (if you need a tutorial on heat transfer vinyl…head here!)  Then I iron it on a big piece of the pillow.  I added strips of the back fabric around the edge.

After this step I sewed the pom poms around and then attached the back!

I love it so much! Pink, glitter, pom poms! All my favorite things!

My other daughters pillow is another fun color scheme! I love this Jade Glitter heat transfer vinyl

The fun part about this–is that you don’t have to have a silhouette cameo or a cricut to create. The initials are so big that you can cut them out by hand. OR print it out on paper and use that as a stencil! The electronic cutters just make it really nice! (I personally love the silhouette cameo! )

Did you catch the sneak peak on my daughter’s room reveal!
