i always feel guilty throwing away christmas cards we get…
so much thought..time and effort…money.
but the pile gets HUGE fast! and I love seeing everyone’s cute faces and how they change year after year!!!
For the cards with no pictures…
I thought how fun to upcycle into tags…you can even use the words from the inside!
Have your kids use cookie cutters to trace and they can totally create with you!
turn some into ornaments
or just cut out the shapes
make some works of art
or just frame your favorites!
and for the cards WITH pictures….
I LOVE this idea…(snap pictures and use them as contacts!)
simply kierste has a great idea–slap them on a ring (we actually do this with birthday cards.
turn them into a photo ornaments
and i love this book complied of your cards!
eighteen 25 has fun free printables to keep them organized
I thought you could cut down the pictures and add magnets for little kids to play with their family members!
Make a scrapbook page dedicated to those smiling faces
and if you are looking for fun ways to display them…check out kristen duke !

I have always used my old Christmas cards as gift tags. Sometimes I use the front and sometimes the words work great too.

Many, many years ago, my Mom cut the card designs into circles, arranged them in a collage & then using clear contact paper, make them into kid placemats!

Those are such great 💡 I had never thought of doing that. I will do some of those ideas when I spend time for fun projects with my grand children. Thank you so much for sharing.
