I love Halloween– but I especially love a spooky Halloween! The scarier the better!!! So I whipped up a spooky Halloween mantel that I’m obsessed with.

I’m going to link everything I got right here so you can have a shopping list! (most of this goodness is from oriental trading!)
- two headed skeleton
- skeleton spider
- spiders
- Creepy Cloth
- spiderwebs
- eek
- cauldrons (comes in set of three)
- halloween treats
- spider pumpkins
- shaking coffin ( I pulled it out of the pictures cause it was blocking the light from the window but omg–I’m obsessed!)
- witches broom
- candles (old–some from the dollar store)
I started with the creepy cloth–I just used tape and some command hooks to hang the majority of my stuff!
Then I slowly just added spider webs until I had the look I wanted.
Then filled the webs with the spiders
I then added some fillers- my skeleton sat on one side and if you notice in the pictures I originally had pumpkins on one side–then switched to this tiered cauldron!)
These were all black–and I wanted a little more of an old look to it. I slightly dusted it with silver, orange and gold spray paint.
I also used one to stage this sign…I thought it was so cute for a porch display
I stacked them (you can use empty box to keep the middle from falling into the bottom one) Then I just added some spanish moss around the edges! I put the top full of fun things to hand out to our trick or treaters! I love having some toys and non-candy options for those with allergies!
and Oriental trading has so many fun options! I could have bought so many! I ended up with finger bubbles, whoopee cushions, slime ball, punch balloon, spider rings and blood bracelet!
I added in a nice little sign I made last year from old cardboard boxes-
Just cut out and painted to look like wood.
Added some candles to make it look eerie.
I also used some spell books to put some candles on to vary the heights! A fun diy if you are looking for one!
