I hate winter SVG cut file- to make yourself a cozy sweater with heat transfer vinyl because now that we survived January, we are ready for spring. But alas- we still have months of cold weather.
If you are looking to sale products made with this cut file please purchase a commercial license HERE! (This will let you use ANY of the free cut files I offer on my blog! If you are having a crafting day and want to use this to whip up a cute sign or tote bag-then totally free! Every cut file is hand lettered by me on my ipad pro with an ipad pencil. I actually have a WHOLE video on how I create my cut files HERE!
Supplies to make projects with this cut file
Blanks:
I have a list of all my favorite places to snag some blanks (and what blanks are!) and a post about my favorite t-shirts to put vinyl on!
For this winter project- I took a sweatshirt (Bella Canvas- it’s so soft!) and tested it to see if it would activate with bleach. (I had a black sweater that didn’t!) Mixing half bleach and half water in a squirt bottle and misted over the sweater to create “snow” bleach dots! Go check out my post on tie dying with bleach.
This technique would look super cool for a galaxy/space shirt too!
Cutting Machine:
I use a silhouette cameo (but all these svgs are compatible with cricut). These are some of my favorite Silhouette bundles you can grab right now on Amazon:
- White one: https://amzn.to/3dfe2cr
- black one: https://amzn.to/3jV1NEw
- Pink one: https://amzn.to/33Kb4JM
If you need help figuring out your silhouette–check out my Silhouette Love series!
Vinyl:
I buy all of my vinyl from Expressions Vinyl. It’s the best quality and they have SO MANY options! Heat transfer Vinyl for bags and shirts, adhesive vinyl for mugs and signs, and check out their patterned vinyl.
Cricut Easypress:
You can totally use an iron when applying heat transfer vinyl- but I have a cricut easypress and I like it! It’s definitely a step up from an iron but not quite as great as a regular heat press!
