This is the Halloween year of the eyeball. I just love them! gross and fun all in one. I wanted to show this super easy Halloween eyeball cake I made–
The cake itself is two small round pans (actually glass storage containers) stacked on top of each other and iced with a  fun bright blue.
I colored some coconut to throw on to  hide my imperfections make pretty. (You could totally go all crazy and make it look like a fur for a monster!) Just put some in a sandwich baggie and throw in some food coloring drops and shake it up.
Then for the eyeballs…they are actually gumballs. I added a drop of green goo (you could use icing) and added the candy eyes they sell in most stores.
let dry. I spray painted some skewers and just poked them in the bottom and stuck them in the cake. (I added the red squiggles after it was up so I didn’t’ smear them.)
Turned out super fun. And it was really easy to do.
Drying time was the only consuming thing! You can also stick them in cupcakes (go HERE to see these fun pop rock cupcakes!)
