This post makes me laugh. I got this “great idea” right before I fell asleep. And when I woke up I was totally gung ho and created it. Now that it’s done I am questioning if this is a little weird. BUT OH WELL! It might be weird…but they turned out so cute…and who doesn’t like BUTTERFLIES!
I always need little thank you or thinking of you gifts! I like to sneak them in my kid’s backpacks–and what kid wouldn’t be excited to get this as a surprise!
Supplies to use with FREE Butterfly Printables
- My Favorite scissors
- glue dots
- Printable (Down below)
- Pipecleaners
- lotion, chapstick or treat

If you are looking for a great printer to use – I love my HP! I wrote up a whole post why The reasons I love the printer. This post also shows how you can make sure you are getting the best prints by adjusting your settings!
IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PRINTER: You can also upload the files to staples or office max and have them print them! Sometimes the local library has a printer for public use!
You just print out the butterflies you want. I added some in color but some in black and white in case you want to color them in, or have the gift recipient color them in.
I just cut them out with my scissors.
You can place a glue dot right in the middle and add in your little treat!
There are lots of things you can use with these butterfly pritnables

- chapstick
- pack of gum
- hand cream
- Roll up a dollar bill
I am loving these cute little lotions from Bath and Body works–
I think these are super cute as is, but you can make an antenna using the black pipe cleaners!
