Christmas advent printables:
I have a few different advent ideas- All printables! Once you print them out you and cut them out, you can do a variety of things with them!
- Put them in a jar or envelope and have the kids draw one out every day.
- Using an over-the-door shoe rack, you can place these printables with any little treats or gifts.
- Roll these printables up and put them inside numbered ornaments as I did on this advent calendar.
Christmas advent activities
One of my first advent printables- I have 4 pages of fun ideas of things you can do this Christmas season!
Since there are more than 24, you can go through them all and decide which ones you want to include in your December plans! The fun part is that you can change it up year after year!
It might not snow where you are, OR you can adapt it to do white playdough to make a snowman! So just pull out the ones that speak to you!
I originally bought 24 Manila envelopes. Then reality hit me what a time suck that would be so I opted for one envelope and then loads of cards to put in it!!! I can pick one and put it in the envelope and put it somewhere in my house for the kids to find, or put all the advent ideas and let kids draw them out day by day!
I got them printed and cut out.
and glued them to some colored cardstock.
You can opt to laminate them so you can reuse these year after year! I Laminate everything I can! I got this Scotch Laminator for Christmas a few years ago and I love it!
Did you know that you can even laminate the envelope?
Just take an exacto knife and slice the opening
Christmas MOVIE advent
I compiled 4 pages of Christmas movies! It was actually a lot harder than I thought! I have about 15 Christmas movies that are my favorite, but I asked on Facebook and went off of the answers there so hopefully your favorite made the cut! If not, just pencil it in!
I didn’t add any hallmark Christmas Movies- only because when I started looking at them, I realized there are 100s!
Just cut these apart and sort! Some you might not like, some you might not consider Christmas movies (I had to include Die Hard and Gremlins for my husband!), and some you might not have access to on streaming channels. So pick out your top favorites, roll them up, and place them in a jar! Grab one out every day!

I rolled up all the stories and stuff I have collected over the years and tied with gold ribbons. Each night before bed starting Dec 1, we turn off all the lights but the tree and read a story together on the rug. My kids (and hubby) LOVED it last year and can't wait to do it again! They already put the story bag in its place by the tree!
Love all these other ideas! LOVE LOVE LOVE this holiday season!!!

Love these ideas. I just posted the Advent Calendar I made using a cookie sheet and metal tins on my blog. But I was needing a little extra inspiration on activities to put inside. Thanks!
I'd love for you to stop by and check out my calendar. Thanks!

I saved toilet paper rolls to do a Martha Stewart Thanksgiving favor, which I never got around to. I was just getting ready to toss them when I saw your blog. Oh, how cute! My granddaughter will thank you. BTW – my maiden name was West. Probably cousins, right?
