I’ve got a fun craft for you- you might have seen it a few weeks back over on crafting chicks — It’s Christmas ornaments that have Christmas carols on them to help get in the Christmas spirit as you countdown the days!!!
Vinyl from Expressions Vinyl makes these super pretty!!! (I used gold vinyl and red glitter transparent vinyl! So stinking gorgeous–man I love Christmas) (If you don’t have access to a vinyl cutter I have an alternative way to down below!) but here is how to add vinyl to round Christmas ornaments.
First…the two fonts I have used are Bebas neue and the cursive is Smitten. Measure your ornament to make sure your vinyl is sized correctly and then cut out with vinyl. Weed away the vinyl that is not part of the design. Add some paper transfer tape over and give it a good rub! Peel up and the vinyl should be stuck. Center it on the Christmas ornament. Adding vinyl to a round surface is tricky. Start in the very middle and rub outward smoothing out any wrinkles. Peel up transfer tape leaving the vinyl on the ornament!
Now you can add them in a bowl and pick one each day to listen to (or sing if you are musically talented) After you sing you add them to the tree! When your tree is full, Christmas is HERE! (or realistically you could put them on a tree and take them off as you sing them! either way!)
Option two– if you don’t have a vinyl cutter: You could also easily print out your songs (I’ve included a list of our favorite songs below) curl up and place inside the ornaments!
Here are some of our favorite Christmas carols:
