Shrink a dink

Who doesn’t love watching your creations shrink down in size!? These Shrink art projects will be a huge hit with adults and KIDS!

Here is what you need to make shrink art projects

Silhouette America has white shrink paper that is so cool! You can print on it and make amazing things!

You can just doodle directly onto the shrink material- or print out some fun designs or your favorite cartoon character and trace over them!

When they are finished, trim them down, add a hole if you want add a keyring or earring to it, and that watch that puppy shrink! If you use an oven we found 350 degrees between 2-4 minutes. If you use a heat gun it’s much faster! I would recommend putting tin foil underneath to protect your surface.

The thing with shrink a dink project is that it curls up before it lies flat. So don’t panic! Sometimes it will fold in on itself and get stuck- That usually only happens with the huge projects! But usually, it will just flatten out. I keep a glass with a flat bottom right next to it so I can push it down flat immediatly after taking it out of the oven.

The shrink paper I bought shrinks down pretty good! You can see the size difference with this before and after!

I created some printables that you can lay down and put the shrink paper over to trace! There is an ABC one that you can use to trace words or your name with!

You can grab the tracing printables here: (or use as coloring sheets if you want!) 6 different sheets. sports, general, abcs, ocean.
