I have three kids. I have a LOT of play clothes…goes hand in hand right?
This is the play clothes before:
This is my thrift store steal for $3.00
I love this color..(I once bought a vacuum for the only reason it was blue)
ohhh. not so pretty. I ripped that all out. and took some new fabric and spray adhesived it on.
I did all the middle and then worked my way around the edges just tucking the excess underneath.
held a piece of cardboard up to prevent the spray getting on everything.
did all around the sides and then put the bottom piece on.
Took my glue gun and hot glued any loose pieces. so it was snug as a bug in a rug.
Painted a cream map….
I use this paint for just about everything.
Did a second coat of cream and added some brown….
painted dress up…I had just bought these stickers so I just copied the lettering and I used some stickers too.
I plan on making a girl one as soon as I find the right suitcase!
my girl one is HERE!
Oh so Cute! What a great job you did…it looks awesome.

That's awesome. Back in the day, I had a dress up box for the boys and one for the girl. They used that for years! Friends LOVED the dress up box, too. I wish I would have thought to make a cute suitcase for it.
OMG this is fabulous!!

Love this! I purchased a couple of vintage suitcases a few years back, and I use them to store my craft supplies (like big rolls of duck tape, contact paper, etc.). You’ve inspired me to re-line the suitcases and make them pretty again 🙂
