i might have accidently scheduled this last friday…then i realized my mistake…and took it off.
then i got a bunch of emails mad at me cause they wanted to see it…..so sorry about that….without further ado…
the cutest thing ever…compiled with the lamest non-tutorial ever….
the back has a velcro opening..cause i wanted to make sure it was easy to slip on and off….
The towel fabric makes a huge mess–it frays a lot! so i tried to use as many as the finished edges of the towel that i could…(like on the sleeves.) I also finished the edges with my sewing machine to stop the fraying!
the top is the hard part…it was a big square mess with the top folded down to fit elastic in it. luckily i had a four year old that i can bribe with iced oatmeal cookies to try on so i could make sure it fit perfect…
I included some fun bathtub paint (walmart for about 4 bucks) and one of those fun washcloths from the dollar store!
so fun! i might have to attempt another one in my future….
this is THE most adorable thing i have even seen. oh my heck. you never cease to amaze me. also, can you make one for a grown up princess? i mean, uh… i have this friend… *coughcough*
Yay!! Agirlandagluegun.com! You did it! I wondered why I had a huge batch of old posts suddenly show up as unread in my reader!
That is stinkin’ cute!
Yeah. I clicked on this link because it was soooo awesome, and I’m not a princess mom, and I still LOVED it. Love. Selling these? I’d buy.
My daughter would die over this! Consider yourself pinned!
My little girl would love for me to make her one. What a great idea. Thanks for sharing. You’ve been pinned!!!

That is ridiculously awesome. Too bad I have no girls…I will put this on for-the-nieces to do list.
Turned out awesome, Kimbo! I LOVE giving crafty gifts- no doubt it will be the funnest thing ever to see her face when she opens this!
Wow! I’m super impressed. I pinned this, but I’m not sure I’m up to the task. You did amazing! I bet your niece went crazy over it.
omg!!! this is adorable. I immediately had visions of my little neice walking into the public pool with this over her lil swim suit. It’s going on my never ending to-do list! Hmmmm….now to figure out a boy one for my little guy….my wheels are turning….i need to go buy some towels.
thanks for sharing!

PLEASE consider making another one!!!!???? My daughters favorite princess is Belle and we are going on a Disney Cruise in a month and she is even being Belle for Formal/Princess night! I have NO sewing skills…only purchasing skills (and I’m really good at it!) so it is not possible for me to recreate this! Oh, I do love it and my 3yr. old would die if she saw it!
Email me if you reconsider making another one!
I love this. I made one and you are right turning those darn loops… the terry cloth frays so bad.. any other ways I can make the loop without the turning? help!!!!
i found terry cloth at joanns..it’s a ton thinner and doesn’t fray….
