i dug this out of my draft box. i never posted it cause i hated how the hand lettering turned out! if you are going to repeat this..i would totally recommend using a stencil or vinyl …just saying.
you buy some wood (i spent $8 for these 5 boards)
then you have your husband run over it for some texture….
then i laid them out and then laid a board across the back and screwed it in (making sure the screws didn’t go all the way through…
just cause i like the view…
then i sanded it…
i couldn’t get the lines nice and crisp. and it totally bothered me…so i sanded it more and went for a more distressed look…
um…still didn’t LOVE It.
i actually painted it all white and sanded it and i use it sometimes as a backdrop. i have big plans for it…so hold your breath until, oh about 2015…cause that’s the rate i’m going right now.
and here’s some awesome pallet art inspiration for you:
I think it turned out great! But, I’m anxious to see what you’ve done with it now!
I have 2 pallets that I need to do something with…thanks for the inspiration!

You’ve got a few unique ones in your line up. I’ve never seen anything like that shark before. Thanks for sharing
Okay, so– the daddy-o and I –we have this thing where when we do stuff, it looks weird because we were the ones looking at it and working on it, and so we have to ask other peoples opinions.
This is you and that pallet art because holy frijoles it is awesome, and I’m not seeing what you don’t like.

Thank you for the inspiration! I have a section of wall that we drywalled but the rest of the room is barn wood. I have been trying to think of something to put in this wall. We came up with the idea of using pallet wood and now this has taken that to even greater ideas!! Thanks a bunch!!!
