This month’s fun Floracraft® theme was Outdoor decorating…with
- FloraCraft® Make It:Fun® Foam Sheets
- FloraCraft® Styroglue®
- FloraCraft® StyroCutter® plus
- FloraCraft® Foam Connectors
- FloraCraft® Smooth Finish
I came up with this succulent holder…that doubles as a party treat holder!
to make: I found a cup that was small enough and just traced circles.
and used a Sytrocutter® plus to cut out the circles (it actually melts it! so fun!)double check size —
Then cut sides —
I used the knife for this part–It’s so great to cut straight lines!
Here are the pieces I used (I didn’t put a bottom on it because if I was going to put treat in it I didn’t want them stuck inside!
Then cover with smooth finish! It’s the best! Fills in all the holes and it’s so light!
I attached the sides with styroglue® and connectors
Then Paint. I think this would be super cute a funky color–a bright teal. Paint it gray to look like concrete or brown like wood!
Then for an industrial look I added these corner brackets I found at Home Depot!
These succulents are fake (finally! ones I can’t kill!!) You can get them from the Floracraft ® brand! (I’ve seen them at Walmart!) I love them! they look so real!
I love that I can use it for more than one purpose!
I love that you can dish up ice cream before the party and place this in the freezer! You even make one that is big enough for mason jars or cups to put your utensils in!
I also love this fun anchor idea:
