Today I have a double whammy. A cute happy spring cut file AND a video showing you 2 ways to make a vinyl sign with the cut file! Such a cute sign! Which one is your favorite?
First Grab all the vinyl supplies from Expressions Vinyl. They have the best supplies and make sure to grab the transfer tape while you are there!
Here is the video I made (last year!)
I actually have a post about using vinyl as a stencil HERE!
First way to use make a vinyl sign– as a stencil
The reason you would want to do this is A. I you don’t have certain colors of vinyl on hand! and B. Distressed. You can’t sand vinyl so if you want a distressed look–you have to paint.
Second way to use make a vinyl sign: regular peel and stick
This one takes a little bit more work (cutting each letter out in a different color) BUT it’s a great use of scraps. And there is no drying time so that’s a total win!
of course…solid colors look just as cute on this vinyl sign! and lots easier than cutting out vinyl in different colors!
You can grab the SVG Cut file down below!
If you are looking to sale products made with this cut file please purchase a commercial license HERE! (This will let you use ANY of the free cut files I offer on my blog! If you are having a crafting day and want to use this to whip up a cute sign or tote bag…than totally free! Every cut file is hand lettered by me on my ipad pro with an ipad pencil.
