The other day I whipped up a fall card…
and decided to use buttons as pumpkins (even though they look more like a tangerine.)
and the buttons were all over the table and the kids started creating with them and created this fun pumpkin-shaped one…
I remembered how I once did a roundup of button crafts to do for CHRISTMAS
and thought it was probably time that I created one for Halloween since it’s my favorite holiday!
That is how this whole post was birthed….(and lucky I didn’t have to wait 9 months for it to grow.)
Halloween button crafts roundup
This roundup is so fun because lots of these projects can be made pretty inexpensively! You can buy buttons in BULK on Amazon and then pick up a frame or canvas from Dollar Tree!
Remember to click on the title above the picture to take you to the original post and the info. (Keep in mind I created this post 8 years ago and linked some projects to blogs that are no longer live! So some don’t have links anymore! Sorry!)
Halloween home decor made with buttons
Pumpkin art: A pumpkin and a princess
The perfect pumpkin art that you can leave up from Halloween through Thankgsiving.
This could go in the kid’s craft category as well! Such a cute idea!
Square pumpkin
(I can no longer find the source! Please let me know if this belongs to you so I can link it properly)
Such a cute piece of art! If you did all yellow you could create a moon!
Halloween cards
Pumpkin buttons Halloween card: me and my inklings
A perfect card to tie onto a cute gift!
This cute card is so darling I think it needs to be made into a canvas print!
You could even add in some buttons for the ghost eyes.
Not a card- but still using card stock- I love the button spider and bats!
Halloween Crafts
Such a cute transformation and with sunflower seeds!
I think this would make the most darling trick or treat bag!
I couldn’t decide what category this should go under! I’m sure kids would love making these too!
Button Bracelet
A charm bracelet wtih loads of buttons with a few Halloween themed charms! Skeletons, spiders, ghosts etc!
I would use a fake jack O lantern so I could reuse this year after year!
Halloween kid’s button crafts
These cute little bats will be darling all over your house!
Add a magnet on the back of buttons and place these on your front door or fridge!
This would be a great motor skill activity to add wire up through the button holes!
Sewing Button projects
This little embroidery spider is absolutely darling!
Halloween black cat pillows with button eyes
A pumpkin made of felt flowers and buttons! How cute!
How cute would this be on a sweatshirt or a pillow?
I could sew up about 100 of these and put them all around the house!
A cute broach! I would love this pinned to my coat!
