Stay Golden Party Details:
Since I wanted to really emphasize the GOLD part of the Golden girls- I spray-painted a few things gold. Like the flamingos!
I also cut apart some of the plates and boxes so I could have images of all 4 of the golden girls. (who is your favorite? I love Dorothy!
Golden Girl Balloon Arch
The Main part of the party tablescape is the balloon arch. Balloon Arches are just the most fun and looks so great! I have a post on how to make a balloon arch .
BUT the problem I ran into with this arch is that I needed a coral shade of balloon. I found this awesome hack on Oriental Trading website. Take a white balloon and an orange balloon and straw. Place the straw into the orange balloon. Put the orange balloon into the white balloon. The straw makes it slide in pretty easy.
Then blow up making sure to hold on to both of the balloons. It created the perfect coral color! I played around with pink over an orange, creating a darker pink.
Just add them to the balloon strip for the ultimate pink arch!
I tucked in some gold leaves to the balloon arch as well as some gold leaves down the center of the table.
Then I added all the fun details! We played Golden Girls bingo! Bingo is just my favorite game!
Each person got a cute golden girl keychain! The Golden Girls SVG cut files for these can be found here!
Add in some Golden girls napkins with gold paper products!
It’s hard to see the gold fringe – It looks pretty dark in the photos but it’s metallic gold and makes the table look so good! Just peel off the backing and apply it around the table’s edge! It was so easy!
Anyways! I just wanted to share my party because I Love how it turned out! Even if I don’t LOVE my birthday!
