(I got my computer back today!!! it’s literally like cutting off my right hand (and i’m right handed) when i don’t have it. THANK goodness for my iphone!) anyways…i dug up another blast from the past to tie you over until i get my act together)
Hi. my name is kim. and today i’m going to introduce you to the most awesomest product ever.
it’s called krylon frosted glass..
and it’s my newest true love. meet me under the misletoe frosted glass…
i recently made this be you tiful sign with vinyl…
well…i had the negative from the vinyl and i just HAD to do something..
And used some tape to mark off the negative space…
then sprayed (no picture)…
it was my first time using it…and I sprayed it a few times…..and it was totally unnecessary..one coat would have been sufficient…the multiple layers built up the paint so it’s 2D.
then i peeled off the vinyl…and if i do say so myself..BEAUTIFUL…
I stuck it in a frame sprayed with krylon’s nickel (more on that later)
but you could add pretty fabric or paper behind….
and after i got this project done i was ITCHING to do another…..
so i grabbed a vase i had in my room….made some stripes…

I LOVE the vase. What an awesome idea to refresh some older things that I have gotten border with.
Is the smudging due to removing the vinyl too soon (before the paint dried)?
Thanks,
Cristy
