First day Back to School grade signs for photo ops! Perfect to keep track of year after year! A free printable you can get every year!
I always remember to grab the first day of school photos. I DON’T always remember to include a cute sign! (One year I was clever enough to do fun donuts in the grade they were going into.)
BUT THIS YEAR- I’m on the ball! I decided to create my own signs- and designed them into a cute pennant banner design! And now I’m sharing these free printables with you!
I have preschool, kindergarten, 1st thru 9th grades, and freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior! (There is a 9th grade as well as a freshman one depending on what you go by!)
How to assemble the grade signs
There are two pages per banner. You can print all 30 pages and be prepared for every year. Or just select the two pages for the grade you need!
If you are looking for an awesome printer to use for your printables, I wrote up a whole post about my favorite printer and the settings you need to use for the best quality prints!
You just need to trim out the banner. I’m going to overlap so no need to trim off the end of the big banner piece.
Lay over the end piece on top and line it up. You can tape it on or glue it in place!
You can also tape on a pencil as a pole to hold your back to school banner up!

We may have missed it by a day, but I can’t wait to print these and use them with my 6th graders to celebrate their first week.
