this one is all credit to my sister who found this adorable fabric dollhouse HERE (make sure to check out her flicker group.it’s AMAZING.)
here is the one she made for my daughter..
and the ones she made for her twins..
love the barn
And my little niecey was turning 5 and i really wanted to make her one…and it’s pretty easy to do..it’s just that mesh stuff (i used it for my earring holder) walmart had a package of 3 (I think it was 12x 24) and it was perfect) you cut out your pieces
and wrap them in batting (i hot glued) the tutorial says to use tape)
then you just sew all pieces together (with handle and elastics)
and you whipstitch two sides…
and add some buttons for the enclosure…
then the fun part of getting out your felt and hot glue and decorating it!!!!

What a great idea! I would have loved these as a child! I'm thinking of making a boy house, garage and barn for my 5 year old son. The possibilities are endless! Could you imagine a "Town" of these? Houses, post office grocery store church gas station?

Bonnie, Just a thought, but if you make a town of them make them in graduated sizes so that some will fit inside others for storing purposes or you'll need a lot of space to store them I'd think. Great Idea. I love it.

These are so cute! I am totally making one for my daughter! I think a gingerbread house will be really cute as the holidays get closer and is gender neutral!

I love this. I am going to make one for my friend's daughter for Christmas, I know she'll love it. We've shared it with the fans of Bamboo Baby on Facebook too 🙂
I don't sew either, so exactly how did you do this with a glue gun? Would you post your own tutorial?
Click on the word "HERE" in the description. It will take you to a page with the tutorial.

This is the most adorable and creative portable doll house idea I've ever seen.
I just wrote a post about it along with other inspirational play houses to make as Christmas gifts.

This is so cute! The kids are older – maybe I could make one for me? 😉
I can’t find the how to, it looks easy enough but I would like the measurements and such, I think my daughter would love this for her Lalaloopies.

Nice! You make this look so easy. I sew but crafts like this can be a challenge for me due to time constrain. Really would love to use this idea with flashcards I made for my girls. it can be her ‘quiet book’ on the go 🙂 Love it!
Gorgeous. What a great idea
