Can you ever have too many wreaths? (If your answer is yes…then maybe we shouldn’t be friends!) I just love making them–and this fun embroidery hoop wreath is my latest creation! It’s actually made for my daughter’s room -but you can easily adapt this for your front door by adding a welcome in vinyl instead of my daughter’s name.

- Hot glue GunÂ
- Greenery/flowers of choice (from Hobby Lobby)

You can grab an embroidery hoop in any size! They have small to large varietys!
How to make an embroidery hoop wreath
I grabbed a bundle of greenery that came all together and used my wire cutters to snip off all the pieces.
I laid it all out and tried to decide what looked best. You really could change the look of the embroidery hoop wreath by how you lay out your greenery. You could put it on the top. Or have two sides look similar. You can add big blooming flowers or just leave it green! Using my floral wire I just tied it onto the hoop! (I did leave the hoop together to make the wreath a little bigger!)Â
Next I added the ribbon–Snipping of the ends and pinching it between the two hoops.Â
How to add heat transfer ribbon to your wreath
I added heat transfer vinyl because it was such an easy way to add a fun pop! Just weed it away and iron it right on!
I did make sure the plastic covered the ribbon because I wasn’t sure if the ribbon would melt under my iron! If you need help with how to apply heat transfer vinyl with an apron go here!Â
I used my hot glue gun to glue the edges of the ribbon so the sides stayed facing outwards! And then just used a command hook to hang! (although you could add another ribbon to hang it as well)Â
I love how it turned out! It will fit in perfectly in my daughter’s room!
If you make an embroidery hoop wreath…make sure to share it with me! I would love to see it!
