Guys! I have an easy peasy quilted blanket–that requires no quilting! People will oowww and aahh…and you get to take all the credit without any hard work!
and here’s how—This amazing prequilted fabric at Joanns! The details (I know the $19.99 is pretty spendy per yard! But remember that Joanns always have coupons–I get an email, text message, coupons in my mailbox, and there is an app. I ALWAYS have a 40% off –sometimes 50% and occasionally a 20% off everything…so if it’s on sale I can get it for even cheaper! and one yard is perfect for a baby blanket!
Throw in some premade bias tape! This make it really easy–a perfect starter blanket for anyone learning to sew!
You want to make sure to get double fold bias tape.–You just sandwich the sides in between (You might need to trim the edges of the quilt first)
pin around and sew!
I also made one using my own diy bias tape! It’s the same method I used HERE for my aprons.
It looks awesome. It’s technically “homemade”. And it’s perfectly done!
