4 fun and easy gift basket ideas for Christmas

I love Christmas. I actually love buying presents for people! It’s so fun to find the perfect gift for each person!

 

That being said…I stress about it! I can’t really enjoy my Christmas until I have all my presents bought and wrapped! So I headed to Big Lots first and just bing, bang, boom…finished all my gifts for my neighbors and friends!

 The brain space that is now free knowing it’s done! And since I know I’m not the only person that stresses about it…. I thought I would share four fun gift basket ideas for those hard to shop for friends/neighbors/family members!

 

And remember–everything can be purchased from Big Lots-down to the wrapping paper and tape!

 

 

This one is super great…especially if you want to give your gifts earlier in December.

A cute box filled with all sorts of random things you always seem to run out of!

Big Lots has tons of these adorable boxes–every shape and size you would ever need!   Styles and assortment vary by store.I snagged one that fit all my stuff and some tissue paper.

This outdoor remote control is awesome (I bought two!) I always forget to turn off my Christmas lights–mainly because it’s too cold to go outside! So I love that I can do it from inside my house!These chalkboard tags are just the cutest thing and I adore those patterned scissors! I might go back and buy some more because they are so great!There are also some hooks for ornaments, extra lights, and tape.  Pair with a fun tag and your gift is ready to go!

For these printables just right click and save to your computer and print from there! Next up…the kid friendly basket! My kids have the whole week of Christmas out of from school and with the cold weather and excitement of Christmas, they are a force to be reckoned with! I personally would LOVE to get this gift!This blanket was the SOFTEST. (Once again I bought two! ha!) I love that at Big Lots, I don’t have to sacrifice quality for price.

There is also a movie and fun coloring activities. (Big Lots had a whole aisle of Frozen stuff! You are sure to find lots of great things that any kid would love!) I stumbled across these candy cane spoons to go with the hot cocoa mugs. I have never seen candy cane spoons! Such a clever idea!This Ninjabread cookie kit is just too fun!  I honestly think that you could just slap a bow on this and have a great gift!  You could put a totally cute baking package together with these holiday icing kits! Big Lots has a big assortment of colored spatulas, whisks and cookie sheets to go with it!This package is a mom’s sanity saver! 

 

Very similar to the kids package….this one is a mom package! Mom’s are amazing and sometime they need to break! Watch a chick flick, get in their pj’s, make a quick dinner for the kids and cuddle up with some cookies! We love this hot cocoa mug! My daughter begged me to let her have it! Big Lots had LOTS of soft pajama sets to choose from! You are sure to find your favorite color!

And last but not least…the 2016 present! I think this is a great “last minute” basket! If the holidays are crazy, or you are out of town, or maybe someone gave you a gift that you didn’t buy a present for–this one is perfect! It can even be given after Christmas! There is some sparking cider, a calendar and pen to get them organized in the New Year.Put in some glasses and some gold coins for the “wealth part”–and your friends are all ready to start 2016 in style!I actually took an old box and wrapped it with Big Lots cute wrapping paper! I added printable for the next few years!

 I ADORE all their holiday decorations! You could just buy a fun sign or craft and wrap it up!
