I just got a copy of the most fun jewelry book! My friend Bev wrote it! (you can buy a copy HERE) It’s awesome! I love 30 minute anything (low attention span!) So I love that you can whip up fun jewelry quickly! and there are so many amazing ideas! I love them all!!!
It got me so inspired that I wanted to whip up these bracelets I have been dying to make! Stacked name bracelets–perfect for Mother’s day!
I wanted them all to go together somewhat–so I laid them all out before I tied them off to make sure I liked the layout!
These letter beads always seemed so little kiddish….but that’s usually because they were paired with big pony beads! So I wanted to try them out with fun modern beads (all the beads were bought at Joann stores–40% off!)
(You can even buy some silver ones ABC beads and square ones)
They are super cute–and a great activity for kids to do for their moms on mothers day. I just cut the string (it’s stretchy) extra long and tied a knot on the end and then my daughter laid out her design and filled up the string! After it was perfect I snipped off the knot and added a crimp bead! (if you need help with crimp beads you can go HERE)
Here is the one my daughter made for her teacher!
(I think the trick is to give them beads that look good together…and maybe not to many options. I told my daughter to pick two colors…and to make a pattern. That way you end up with something you actually want to wear instead of….
I made a bunch of other simple bracelets to go with it…because I don’t think less is more.
Add in some fun friendship bracelets for a mixed/matched look.

I love these, what kind of string did you use?
