but you can buy some here for a great deal….
add some magnets (you can buy these anywhere…joanns..walmart…)
okay plan b:
we are color loving people..so we made our wood discs purrrty….
added our magnets…
(i’ll do a tutorial on it later…if any of you have questions!)
(but you could just use picnik to design some and print them out and cut them out yourself. totally doable!)
and don’t mind the fact that our handle is broken off our fridge..and i have added to the honeydo list…
you can either line up the chores on one side and move them over when they get done (you even could add another strip of vinyl down the middle)
or you can spread them around and they just put them in their squares (rectangle my son so politely reminded me) when they get them done!
so far i have loved it. the novelty of just getting all the chores done before anyone else is great motivation…i think once that wears off i will probably only hand out privileges (like having a snack before bed or having a friend over etc) if everything is done without me NAGGING.
we also still use our clipboard chore charts…but those are mainly basic reminders –brush teeth, take a bath, get dressed…(we use it A LOT in the summer though!)

Ah! Love your version! We're color people, too, so I'm a big fan of that. I don't have a silhouette (sad…) but I might be willing to cut them out by hand if it meant that my son would actually DO something.
So…I've just started a link party devoted to projects inspired by pinterest. You should link up!
Very Pinteresting Party

Love this!
Pretty please will you tell me the name of the font you used for the names on the chore chart?!! I <3 it!

Great tutorial. There are also 1" circle stickers by Avery that you can run through your printer and stick them to the discs.
Here is a bedroom checklist I did since my kiddos don't read yet/real well. 🙂
