I know paint chips hit was a RAGE a few years ago…basically….everything to anything was made or decorated with them! why? Because they are colorful…and free. But my kids are going to be home for two weeks this Christmas break!! two weeks! AND I have to find ways to keep them busy! and these Christmas garlands are the perfect thing!
I have a box of paint chips I’m not going into home depot and grabbing handfuls of one color…but everytime I wanted to paint anything I would go and browse and pull the shades that would work…and then kept them. and over the years they have grown a bit out of hand!
So we decided to put them to cute use and make some festive Christmas garlands out of them!
and it’s super kid friendly…if they can wield a pair of scissors.
You can sketch a design on the back, use cookie cutters, or grab the stencil down below!
then cut!
We hot glued to some bakers twine to make a garland…
but you use to make some cards, or door decorations, or even some fun ornaments!
I have a stencil to use if you need a guide to cutting out shapes!
