Here is what I do with all the holes: I use Steam-A-Seam 2 to make my own patches to use on the inside or on the outside. In the colour i like. From the fabric I like (Jersey works really good!). And it will not peel off.

Good ideas. I didn’t think anyone wanted their holes covered up these days. LOL I am amazed at some of these people walking around with holes located in inappropriate spots. I guess I am just old fashioned.

How ironic! I thought my boys were out of the holey knee stage, but alas! NO! My teen son came home from school with a rip in his NEW jeans. He had decided to jump over a fence, a steel link fence (Ummm.anyone else see something wrong with this picture??) Did he make it over? Kinda….jeans caught onto a link, ripped his jeans , and deeply scratched his leg… I was more upset about the jeans…and he’s angry with ME because I wasn’t too concerned about his leg! He’s almost 15!!!! COME ON! lol oh, well. patching them today. lol

Those iron on patches never work for me. They always fall off after a wash or 2. So i just save some money and make my own out of old jeans and sew them down by hand or machine.

I have also used old jeans and heat-and-bond (Super strong) to make my own patches.

My boys love camo, but the school district doesn’t allow it. I cut up a bunch of their old camo pants and used heat-n-bond to make a stash of patches for all of their jeans. I got a HUGE (like, 5 sq ft) pack of heat-n-bond at JoAnns for about 5 bucks, and I’ve barely made a dent in it, despite having patched 13 pair of pants and making a stash of many-sized patches (in camo, denim, corduroy, plaid, solid twill, etc.)

I do need to start reinforcing the corners though – maybe with an X stitch or something. I get sick of ironing the corners back down! LOL
