St. Patrick’s day printable with a pot of gold

Grab this free St. Patrick’s Day printable and create this pot of gold for a darling and easy gift idea for teachers and friends.

Do you give gifts for St. Patrick’s day?? Well, you should. I’m not sure if you realize how much amazing candy comes wrapped in gold. So I made a printable, bought all the candy so I could show you how cute this gift idea is! and Now I can eat the leftover candy (currently eating a nugget as I type.) 

There are two options: a friend and a teacher version!

I used these fun St. Patrick’s Day printabes and paired them with gold candy and a painted terra cotta pot (a pot of gold!)

You can also just pair it with a fun colorful candy (like airheads or skittles) or some gold candy (like a twix bar)

This can also be paired with a lottery ticket for a fun gift!

Supplies to use with FREE Printables

• My Favorite scissors or Paper cutter
• glue dots
• Printable (Down below)
• Hole punch
• Bakers Twine (great for tying on the printables!) 

To make the pot of Gold

• Small Terra Cotta pot
• Black Paint
• Gold candy (lindor truffles, caramels, nuggets etc)

Printing them out

IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PRINTER: You can also upload the files to staples or office max and have them print them! Sometimes the local library has a printer for public use!

Cutting out the printables:

I love Fiskars! Nice sharp scissors or paper cutters will get you the best-looking edges! Almost 90% of the time use my Paper Trimmer to get nice straight cuts! It just looks so much more professional!

To make the pot of gold

Step 1. Start by painting the terra cotta pots black. You can really use any size of pot depending on how much candy you have to fill it.

Step 2: Let Dry

Step 3: Fill with all the gold candy

You can also add some crinkle gold paper to fill up the space as well.

Step 4: Add in printable

You can also use the pot of gold with this colorful printable.
