Build your own trail mix bar

My sister showed me the cutest little diy trail mix bar that her mother put on for their camping trip! It was so cute and perfect for those picky eaters (I personally hate nuts so it’s m&m’s all the way for me! So I whipped up a free printable for you so you can put on one for your next camping trip, summer social, or family reunion!

We just grabbed a whole bunch of treats to create a variety of choices (I would recommend maybe buying double of the m&m’s or have some adult in charge of putting in a spoonful because those went extra quick!

What to put in trail mix

  • pretzels
  • nuts (almonds, peanuts, walnuts
  • yogurt covered raisins
  • m&ms
  • craisins
  • banana chips
  • chocolate chips
  • popcorn
  • dried strawberries
  • goldfish
  • dried mangos
  • little cheezits

If you have peanut allergies–this is a great way to give kids lots of choices that don’t include nuts!

I snagged some little boxes, spoons and bags all from hobby lobby and grab the printable down below and let your guests just fill up at their leisure! Trail mix bar for the win!

FYI: It rained while I snapped pictures–the original printable isn’t dotted–but I kind of liked how it looked!

Click below to snag the printable–couple color options plus good ole black and white!
