This Diy is so cheap and cute- you will not only make 1- you’ll make 20! Come learn how to make a paper cone Christmas tree!
I totally randomly came across this diy! I bought this tree form from Hobby Lobby (for like $3!) and was planning on painting it…and then I though some plaid Christmas paper would be so awesome–and that’s when I realized…you could use this cardboard tree as a form and make ALLLLLL the trees! I currently have 20. But I have plans to make about 40 more for a church Christmas party! #craftallthethings The best part is–These use wrapping paper. So basically each tree is like ten cents when it’s all said and done!
I put together a video since it’s so much easier to show you–and it requires two hands to show you properly
Here is what you need to make paper Christmas trees:
- cone shape as form (snagged mine at Hobby Lobby)
- wrapping paper
- hot glue gun
- scissors
- pencil
Here is the video-just let me know if you have any questions!
Here are some of the fun cones I’ve put around my house (you are getting a sneak peek into my Christmas mantel that is HERE) I think they look so good paired with some bottlebrush trees!
After I shared this on my instagram stories (you should totally come follow me!) You guys started sharing your fun paper trees! One person had them down the center of her table! They looked so cute!
and of course, you can use whatever wrapping paper matches your decor! gold and white, brown kraft paper, pinks and turquoises!
If you make some… please share the picture with me!!
