i got to use all my pretty colors of vinyl from Expressions vinyl
added some transfer tape (if you aren’t a transfer tape believer..then poor you. imagine taking the p and peeling it off and placing it where it needs to go….then the r… then the a…but the a isn’t straight so peel it up and reput it back down until it looks straight and repeat all the way to the end….
then turn your block and start over with song. now, imagine taking your transfer tape..rubbing it over…peel and stick..rub and peel off…everything is perfectly aligned. FANTASTIC!)
oh transfer tape..if i wasn’t into total love with my glue gun..it would be you (picture me with my hands over my sewing machine ears….) (i also feel like this is a good time to mention that i’m painting my dresser..and there might be some fumes and even as i write this i am telling myself to edit and shut up)
okay….the fhe block:
for the all the names I used the scal’s basic shapes and made a little symbol for each person…
then you toss it…and see what you are in charge of for the week…..
and let me tell you. this week, game is mine…and someone is going down in battleship…

Those are SO CUTE!!
I've never used Mod Podge, but am thinking I should add it to my repertoire of crafty's as I keep seeing projects like this that are so cute!

I love that idea! what fun for the kids, to roll the blocks! And I agree, what's up with a 4×4, 2×4, etc NOT being what it's called???? I think back in the "day" they used to be. Hmmm.

We don't do family home evening, but this is still a GREAT idea! And I just bought my first roll of transfer tape this week. Can't wait to use it cuz I HATE doing ONE letter at a time!

Kimberly, this is your dad commenting and for others who this may interest. Rough lumber is 4X4, 2X4, 1X4 respectively. After it is milled, its finished size is 3 1/2 X 3 1/2. You aren't the only one that can beat a subject to death!!!

What a great idea! I had made a chart for our family but now that we're in our house we don't have anywhere to put it. This is great to be able to put away.

I like your Dad!
And I love these dice! Our only problem is we need more kids… doesn't work quite so well with just one. This would also work pretty well with playdates for who got to choose the game, or what game to play for how long, etc.. Cute!
