Rainbows and placemat purses.

My 6 year old loves rainbows.

If you ask what her favorite color is…it is rainbow.
So when I was making purses out of placemats that is what she wanted.
Couldn’t quite find a rainbow placemat so I  had to improvise.
Painted it first–then hot glued the buttons on. So cute.
This one is actually two placemats sewn together.
I found these cute polka dotted ones at Kohls. (reversable!!!)
And in case you haven’t seen how to do these….super easy.
Sew up the two sides.
Sew up a line on the corners so it looks like a triangle.

Add a handle and embelishments.
(That blue green one needs a big cute flower on it….but my son uses it and I just can’t do it to the kid.}
