joy to the world..and vinyl

a cute simple vinyl project….

I have since revamped for the sake of BETTER pictures! The above is the old pics… hanging joy sign

supplies I got three frames from the dollar store and spray painted them red…and got this awesome pack of snowflakes and one of these got a red makeover also… (dollar store too and I have these stuck all over my Christmas tree and windows!)

After the paint dried I hot glued the snowflake right in the middle…

then I got on my cameo and picked a j and y I liked…
and I got out my selection of red all from expressions vinyl….
and ended up going with some glitter transparent vinyl
added some transfer tape and stuck them right in the middle on the glass….
people have said they would rather reverse the image and put it on the underside of the glass—to make cleaning easier.
but since i don’t clean –it didn’t matter to me!
got out my stash of ribbon that i have stolen off of OTHER’s people presents ( after they open them of course!)

Then I asked on facebook which one …and it was pretty neck and neck! I loved the burlap..but it didn’t let the letters pop as much as I liked!  1929931_981090611928983_4027590432179286532_n transparent glitter vinyl I originally was going to leave them like this…with a ribbon above each one to hang….

or you could lay it out like this…

but I ended up playing around with it and decided to add a strip of ribbon behind it…

you could also put some cute fabric or scrapbook paper behind it!
(and of course these would be cute on blocks as well!)

Or add a different phrase merry-and-bright-big-lots-pictures-for-christmas-tatertots-and-jello

or you could slap some vinyl on apothecary jars

or on vases

(wrong season but you get the idea!)
or what about plates?
or onto little candle votives…
(this is just a picture i snapped at a store here in town!)
 so much vinyl…so little time!!!!!
