Littlest Pet Shop mat

So we all know I have an OBSESSION with the felt mats. disclaimer: the first two I made were for gifts click HERE for the boy one and click HERE for the girl one… and the batman one I made (click HERE) was for my son….so my daughter didn’t even have one.

So OF course I HAD  to make her one. It’s in the parent hand book. page 56 paragraph 2.

And I wanted to make her one for her littlest pet shop (all 50 of them)

Here is what you need:
  • Sharp scissors
  • felt
  • hot glue gun
  • LOTS of glue sticks

I like to buy the main colors of felt by the yard at Joanns…and then some just the 8×11 sheets of all the different colors (you usually don’t need too much except for the brown and green!

I just took all her animals for ideas…she had dogs, farm animals, bunnies, zoo animals, water animals, birds. So I just made sure I had a spot for each one!

The zoo with some cages for the giraffe, monkeys, elephants, hippos, lions etc!

A place for the birds and insects

A cat play area

and a water area

A little spot for the pigs to play and get muddy

A garden for the bunnies and to feed the animals

and open  grassy area
A puppy area
and a horse corral
Lots of fun places for the animals to play.  You could even put houses and streets if you want your animals to be more civilized!
There is even a pooping area…

you can see all my hot glue stringies…
Here is how to get rid of them!

and it’s a…….

so you have to love it!
in other completely unrelated to crafts or glue guns:
