So, I find myself in charge of my eldests Valentine Party at School tomorrow. 25 1st graders.
What to do. What to do.
It started with some crafted up clothespins (the giant kind) that I finished at some super Saturday ages ago and had nowhere to put them.
I wanted the kids to shoot them with a nerf gun.
No nerf guns at school.
So I sewed some bean bags. (yes, I don’t hot glue everything)
and bought some non-bulky prizes (you have got to have the prizes—did I mention 25 kids?)
Which ever one they knock down that’s the prize they get.
and then I thought (tonight and the party is tomorrow)…that the kids would not wait quietly or patiently for their turn and 25 kids in a line would take awhile to get through.
So I whipped up another game so we can split into two groups.
More bean bags.
I took a piece of cardboard, covered it in wrapping paper. HOT GLUED some Glad containers to it and propped it up with an extra piece of cardboard.
Got some more prizes. Same rules as above–whichever when you get the bean bag in that’s the prize you get. (I love bribery)
Just in case anyone out there needs a game…fast!
