I was having a ton of problems with my laptop overheating and running so slow. I just went out to buy a lap desk, and ended up getting one with a fan in it. I've only had it about a week, but I LOVE IT! It keeps my computer so cool, and it is running a lot better. I was worried the fan might be loud, but you hardly can even tell it's on! The one I got plugs into your computer using USB and runs on the computer battery.

This is the one that I got at Best Buy, and I also saw that they sell them at Target. Don't know if you have anything like this already that you use, but if you don't you should think about it. I thought my computer was dying, but this has done wonders!!!

Hey my hubby is a computer guy and he says sometimes a quick fix for laptops overheating is to take a can of air and blow it out, especially where the fan is. Sometimes dust build up on it and it overheats faster. Anyway just a thought and maybe it will help! Good luck!!
