poppyseed glazed ham sandwiches

so. listen. when i post recipes i don’t you all to be like

pashaw! that is a six sisters recipe!

cause i ain’t trying to knock off recipes.

All i’m doing is sharing recipes that have slowly filled up my recipe binder through the years…

old hand me downs tried and true recipes.

new recipes that my sister tells me to try

when you go to a party and someone brings something delicious and you harrass them until they give you the recipe.

crap like that.

 

I do like to pinterest (verb) and try to look and see if i can find it..

but this one didn’t turn up–so i’m sharing it here. cause it’s soooooo good.

this girl brought it to bunco and i ate like 7. (wish i was kidding)

and it’s a good thing she doesn’t blog cause a lot of my favorite recipes are hers

Poppyseed glazed Ham sandwiches…

okay..for this simple yummy recipe you need

rolls

and ham.

and provolone or swiss cheese (i like swiss)

You cut each roll in half and put cheese and ham on it.

In a small saucepan you add:

1 half cup butter

2 Tbs Brown sugar

1Tbs Worcestershire sauce (i love saying Worcestershire)

1 tbs poppy seeds.

Boil sauce together pour over top of sandwiches. (cept i add a little on the inside first then close them up and spread the rest of the top.)

Bake 350 degrees for 20-30 min until cheese is melted and warmed through.

You don’t want your roll to be hard from being toasted too long…but don’t take them out prematurely cause that 20 mins in the oven makes the sauce almost caramelize or something.

it’s a quick recipe that is SURE to please everyone!!!!
