I’ve got a cute garland for Easter today – paint chip carrots! You and/or your kids can make this easy craft!
These are paint chips- and they are just so darling! They are inexpensive and super easy to make! Kids can even join in and help!
Supplies to make paint chip garland
- paint chips
- tape or glue
- ribbon or twine
- template (free down below!)
All of these things I have on hand except the paint chips! and since Paint chips are free- this project was essentially free!
Just an FYI- I always ask when taking paint chips for art projects! The companies are always great and let me take a nice variety! But I just think it’s common courtesy to ask!
How to make a carrot out of paint chips
As well as being inexpensive, these are pretty easy to make! I just snip the paint chips into triangles!
You can also do a little triangle for a stem!
Then glued on the tops with my glue gun. You can use tape or a glue stick though!
I added tape with baker’s twine to make it a garland!
We also made these with solid paint chips we had left over! They turned out just as cute!
Free paint chip carrot printable
I have a template in case you don’t want to freehand! You can print them out and pick what size works best Then trace them on the back of the paint chip as a guide!
